BoA fans are getting more and more anxious as August 2nd approaches and the digital release of BoA's title song, Hurricane Venus, is released. Meanwhile, fans are researching who was involved in writing and composing this highly anticipated comeback album. Fans are especially excited about BoA's personal contribution in the creation of the songs, other than simply providing the vocals.
Out of the 6 songs inspected by a BoA fan from bestiz (진운), 2 are composed and written by BoA herself! Kenzie, who is well known by BoA fans for her work in popular songs such as MOTO, Garden In The Air, My Name, and Milky Way, works her magic once again, composing MEP (My Electric Piano). Jinu's (hitchhiker) experience includes composing songs such as Brown Eyed Girls' 2009 hit song Abracadabra and Infinite's Come Back Again. He has also collaborated with lyricist Kim Bu Min, composing So Nyeo Shi Dae's Show! Show! Show!, f(x)'s Ice Cream, and SHINee's Electric Heart. Kim Jong Wan is a member of the indie rock band Nell, acting as a guitarist, vocalist, and also playing the keyboard. He has written and composed all of his band's music, with 7 full albums under his belt. He has also written a song for Epik High's 4th album, Remapping the Human Soul, called 행복합니다 (I'm Happy).
Only BoA's title song, Hurricane Venus, will be released on August 2nd. The whole album will be out on August 5th.
